The primary difference is that antiperspirant was made to stop your body from releasing sweat (and toxins) by using ingredients such as aluminum to block/clog the sweat glands. Deodorant, on the other hand, prevents body odors and minimizes sweat through the use of natural actives such as Diatomaceous Earth.
